We love access to the Schuylkill River Trail, which runs directly behind our house. This trail goes all the way to Center City, and to Phoenixville in the opposite direction. The trail connects with Valley Forge National Park and the 19-mile Perkiomen Trail that leads to Green Lane, so you can easily vary your exercise routine. We have made many improvements & upgrades to the home with the intention of creating a warm, casual, and welcoming place. The wood ceiling beams, the granite island in the kitchen, the Casablanca ceiling fans, and the detailed woodwork throughout the house are some of our favorite features. There is also an in-law/au pair suite with an updated kitchen, living area, bedroom & bathroom. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, there has always been plenty of room for family and friends to stay with us for extended visits. We have also added an elevator, which has been a great help with the groceries and when our parents come to visit. And the storage area behind the garage is massive, so we're easily able to store our kayaks, wave runners, and other water items during the winter. We now only pay $342 per YEAR for flood insurance! Last but not least is the location - it's like living in the country, but conveniently located to majors highways and shopping. So many wonderful memories and great times.
